Fundraiser for Peter Serrone
May 29 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeDedicated Police Officer and long-time First Responder needs our community support.
The Shoppes at The Farm and Carlucci’s are proud to host an evening of food, drink and entertainment to benefit Police Officer Peter Serrone and family!
Corporal Peter Serrone has been a first responder nearly his entire life. Now he needs a community of first responders to help him in his fight for life. In 2012, Pete transferred to the Readington Township PD where he was promoted to the rank of Corporal before retiring in 2022. One very short year later, Pete was diagnosed with ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
A devoted family man, Pete is 49 and has been married for 25 years to his high school sweetheart, Nancy. They have two daughters: Maeghan, and Emilie. The Serrone family is determined to surround Pete with love and laughter, focusing on keeping a positive mindset despite Pete’s diminished physical abilities.
As a result of his diagnosis, Pete is unable to work and much of his time is dedicated to aggressive medical treatments. Your donations will help Pete and his family with the costs related to ALS, including home renovations, medical testing, copays, medications, medical equipment, future at-home care, and travel expenses. The average lifetime out-of-pocket expenses for an ALS patient WITH health insurance is between $100,000 and $200,000.
Please help us help Pete and the Serrone family!
